Pedal, Dash and Splash – Belmont Grosvenor campaign to raise £50,000 to refurbish its school swimming pool has got off to a fantastic start with more than £4,000 raised from its inaugural BGS Triathlon.
All pupils, from Magic Tree Nursery children to Year 6 students, threw themselves into this week-long event which culminated in a fabulous PTA-organised Triathlon Party on the Head’s Lawn at BGS.
Throughout the week before May half-term, pupils competed in the three Triathlon elements – swimming, cycling and running – and were sponsored for their efforts by family and friends.
And the BGS Tri ended with an after-event party featuring bouncy castles, beat the goalie competitions, soak a teacher slots, food, music and more, organised by the school’s incredibly supportive PTA.
The BGS Swimming Pool Fundraiser total currently stands at more than £4,000 – an incredible start to the fundraising campaign.
