Arranging a Visit

Every day is an open day at Belmont Grosvenor School and Magic Tree Nursery and we’d love to welcome you in to meet our Nursery Manager Mrs Julie Dent and Headmaster Mr Nathan Sadler. You will have the opportunity to see our nursery in action and ask any questions about your child’s time with us. Your child is welcome to join you so that they can experience it all too!

Settling in Sessions

In order to ensure both you and your child are settled before starting their regular sessions at Magic Tree Nursery, we offer a number of ways to ease their transition.

In the month before children start in nursery, they will be invited to come in, with parents and carers, for one-hour play dates, before being encouraged to stay, on their own, for longer two-hour settle sessions.

For many children, these sessions are enough for them to feel comfortable, but if more sessions are needed, these can be arranged to suit each individual child and parent. We want to make sure the transition to nursery runs as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. Once a child is in nursery, staff keep in touch with parents with photos to help alleviate any worries.

Sessions and Fees

Magic Tree Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from 8am to 6pm each day. Children can join us for as many days a week as required (a minimum of two half days a week), and the range of sessions available provides the flexibility that parents need. A school day runs from 8.30am to 3.30pm, and a full day from 8am to 6pm.
