Pupils remember the fallen at annual Remembrance Day services across district

Pupils and staff came together to remember the fallen during the annual Remembrance Day services at Belmont Grosvenor School.

Children from BGS laid poppy wreaths at Remembrance Sunday services at Harrogate’s Cenotaph and Ripon Spa Gardens before the school community joined together on 11th November to observe a two-minute silence in Belmont Grosvenor’s Poppy Courtyard.

The moving service included heartfelt readings and poetry from pupils in Year 6, as well as music. At the going down of the sun, And in the morning, We will remember them.
