Pupils from Year 4 upwards enjoyed a day in the outdoors when they walked up, and on, Yorkshire’s Three Peaks.
As part of BGS’s Enrichment activities, the children spent four hours walking on the mountains, supporting each other and drawing on the school’s learning habits of resilience, risk-taking, perseverance and co-operation.
It was the first time pupils at BGS have been involved in such a challenging activity – and they all rose to the occasion.
