STEM-based education teaches children far more than science, technology, engineering and mathematical concepts. The focus is on hands-on learning and real-world applications and it helps children develop life-long skills such as curiosity, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, communication and collaboration.
From a young age, pupils at BGS are encouraged to question, explore and play to foster a love of STEM . As the children move through school, they have lessons into our well-equipped science lab and DT room where they are given opportunities to plan, build and evaluate a range of projects whilst applying a range of STEM disciplines.
